I have known Le Touquet and Stella Plage for over fifty years.
I’ve worked as a Travel Agent and in airline reservations. I understand where the gaps are, and what travellers need to know, before they find out the hard way.
No one has ever treated London - Le Touquet without a car as one concept, one journey.
Except for landing at Elizabeth II International airport in Le Touquet, I have travelled there by every means there is. Hovercraft and Catamarans no longer operate on this part of the English Channel, Folkestone Harbour station is an open air museum, and Boulogne ferry port has only recently reopened with a service to Cork, in the Republic of Ireland. I have alighted from a coach, from London Victoria, at Calais Ferry Port, but that is not currently possible.
